Our Purpose

At The Moore Memory School, it is our purpose to help anyone learn quickly, easily, comprehensively, and permanently.

No matter where you are on your journey through life, there is always something to learn. Whether you are a child just starting school or a professional 30 years into your career and learning a new skill we can help. If you are a school looking for a better way to teach your students or a corporation looking for better ways to train your employees we can help. If you are learning basic arithmetic or string theory we can help. If you are an athlete trying to learn the playbook or you are in school learning to be a doctor, yes, we can help with that too.

Our method will help anyone learn anything.

Why We Do It

As we just stated, it is our purpose to help anyone learn quickly, easily, comprehensively, and permanently. So what exactly does that mean?

Well, as we are sure you are aware, learning using traditional methods can be a bit of a challenge. It usually involves memorizing answers for a test, or even worse, trying to memorize abstract information such as mathematical formulas. Because not everyone has the ability to see or hear something once and remember it forever, you will find there are many people who struggle with learning. Perhaps you are one of them.

At The Moore Memory School, we understand that struggle. That’s why we have spent years developing a better way.

How We Really Learn

Let’s talk about some things that you do remember permanently. In fact, let’s take a look at the image on this page of the girl with the laptop. Do you see the bananas in front of her? If she never saw another banana again after this day, do you think she would forget what a banana is? Probably not.

The reason she would likely remember bananas for the rest of her life is because of how we naturally learn. She has seen a banana. She has smelled a banana. She has tasted a banana. She has touched bananas. She has heard the sound the peel makes when you pull it from the banana and the light crackling sound a banana makes when you break it. Notice a pattern? All of her senses have been engaged in learning what a banana is.

Confidence In What You Know

We have stated elsewhere on this site that the value of having confidence in yourself and in your knowledge cannot be overstated. That is absolutely true. Learning the way you naturally learn will create permanent knowledge that you can be confident in recalling. This can and will create confidence in yourself.

Let’s go back to the girl with the bananas for a moment. We’ll put her in a scenario which in reality would likely never happen just to help you see this for what it is.

Let’s say that 20 years from now, she has a job interview and they ask her to tell them about the Pythagorean Theorem (which she learned using traditional methods) before they give her the job.

She then has a job interview that hinges on her telling them about a banana. Which interview do you think she feels the best about? Which job do you think she is most likely to get?

Now, what if she could remember the Pythagorean Theorem just as easily as she remembers what a banana is? What do you think that would do for her confidence? What if she could remember anything she wanted at any time she wanted for the rest of her life? Do you see the value in that?

Do you see the value for your yourself? For your employees? For Your Child?

So, Here Is What We Do

The extremely simplified version of what we have done is that we have spent years developing a method that ties images to the five senses. We use that method to teach in a way that actually resonates and creates permanent knowledge.

Rather than repeating formulas and answers to questions, hoping they’ll be remembered long enough to pass a test, our students are able to enjoy learning and be confident they’ll remember the answers.

Using the images, they’ll be able to create stories that tie those images to the five senses in order to help them recall that information anytime they want.

Over and over again, we have had students come to us struggling. We have heard them say things like, “I just can’t keep up,” and “I don’t feel smart.” We have had them tell us they don’t feel confident in themselves. We have heard the hurt in the voices of the parents as they describe their frustration in seeing their child struggle to learn.

Over and over again, after learning using our method, we’ve had those same students and parents come to us and tell us about remarkable change. The students would then say things like “I do feel smart,” and “I can learn anything,” and “I feel so much more confident.” The smiles on the faces of both the students and the parents, are exactly why we do what we do.

That is what we do. We not only help people to quickly and permanently learn anything, but we also help them gain the confidence they need to be successful for the rest of their lives.

We invite you to join us in this purpose.
